TEASER (TExAs Software Engineering Research) is an anual venue where software engineering (SE) researchers from the DFW metroplex (and beyond) meet to discuss and work on diverse SE topics.
The 1st TEASER is a doctoral symposium. It will be a one-day event held at The University of Texas at Dallas campus, on Thursday, May 12th, 2016.
The goal of our doctoral symposium is to provide a supportive space in which our Ph.D. students can present and receive feedback on their research work, while allowing all of us to know each other and network productively.

The 1st TEASER doctoral symposium will be held in the Department of Computer Science (ECSS building) in The University of Texas at Dallas campus, which is easily accessible via major expressways and public transportation.
If you are a visitor to the UTD campus, you can get a one-day parking pass that will allow you to park in Green parking spaces. This pass can be obtained in the Visitor Center or Parking Office when you bring in a photo ID. Obtaining the one-day parking pass might take some time. If you want to get the pass, we recommend you to arrive to the Visitor Center at least 30 minutes before the doctoral symposium starts, to avoid any delay in the schedule. Otherwise, there are over 300 pay-by-space cash-less metered parking spaces on campus.
The closest parking points to the ECSS building are Lots H and J, and Parking Structures (PS) 1 and 3. All of these points offer Green parking spaces. PS 1 and 3 also offer pay-by-space parking. Other parking points are available and there are internal shuttles running all day to/from them. Do not forget to check the campus map and the parking map before attending the venue!
Update: We obtained a parking permit for all TEASER participants. The permit can only be used to park in the gold and green spaces of Lot H. Contact us if you need the permit.
Important: TEASER occurs on the same day as UTD graduations. To avoid graduation traffic in the afternoon, enter the campus via Drive L to access Lot H.
If you want to attend the 1st TEASER Doctoral Symposium or have any questions about it, please contact Laura Moreno (lmorenoc AT utdallas DOT edu).
